• The following projects were inspired by the nightmare my eight-year-old self had of a disproportionate Scotsman repeatedly pushing me to my death in front of Postman Pat's van every night for two months solid after playing Super Mario Bros. and then eating Scott's Porridge Oats a little too close to bedtime.

'MADE IN KOREA FROM CLAY' // CERAMIC REPRODUCTION (2010)
• Inspired by an English teaching workshop at a ceramics museum in South Korea where, wanting to impress the
grand master hosting our class, I decided to completely ignore his explicit instructions for us all to make plates,
and instead proceeded to construct a clay representation of the head of the Scotsman from my nightmares /
university studies. Undeterred by the master's comment that 'my plate wasn't very realistic', I packed up my
'plate' and took it on the 300km bus ride back to my home, where I gave it a body...and other things.
